Michael D. Redmond
Michael is the senior vice president and chief of strategy, hospital and clinical services. A member of the senior management team, Michael's focus is strategic planning and implementation for the organization and responsibility for two key departments, the Crotched Mountain Specialty Hospital (including the outpatient clinic) and the Clinical Services department, which supports the hospital and the Crotched Mountain School. Michael has been with Crotched Mountain since 1999, previously serving as interim CEO, chief operating officer, chief financial officer and vice president for advancement.
Michael has over 35 years of diverse management experience in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining Crotched Mountain, he was a senior consultant with The Whelan Group in New York City, NY, a consulting firm specializing in strategic planning and fundraising management services for not-for-profit institutions. He also held the positions of executive director of development with the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement-Graymoor, a worldwide Catholic order of brothers and priests and assistant executive director of the Grand Street Settlement, a private social services organization.
Michael holds a bachelor of arts in History and Economics from Boston College, a master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina, a MBA from Columbia University and a Lean Six Sigma certificate from Villanova University.
Michael is past president of the board of trustees of the Dublin School and has served as a member of the board of trustees of the Peterborough Players, New Hampshire Public Radio, RiverMead Retirement Community, the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce and Leadership New Hampshire.
