Reverend Dan Osgood Named Chair of CM Ethics Committee
Dr. Fred Bruch, chief medical officer at Crotched Mountain, is pleased to announce that Reverend Dan Osgood of the Greenfield covenant Church has been named chair of Crotched Mountain's Ethic Committee. For nearly 30 years, Reverend Dan has served members of his Church and the greater Crotched Mountain community through his ministry. He has served on the ethics committee since its inception. "Reverend Dan has been committed to meeting the spiritual needs of our patients, clients and staff for many years and he has been a driving force behind the creation and ongoing work of our Ethics Committee," said Dr. Bruch. "We are grateful for his dedication to our mission and for playing yet another important role in supporting Crotched Mountain."
The Ethics Committee serves the entire Crotched Mountain community by encouraging and supporting ethical reflection, mutually respectful dialogue, critical analysis and standards of conduct reflecting the organization's values and commitment to person and family-centered services. The committee provides education, policy review and development as well as review and recommendations in cases where ethical questions arise. The Ethics Committee includes members of the CM staff and the community. It meets quarterly and on an as-needed basis.
