Crotched Mountain Foundation Announces Catherine Curtis as Nurse Practitioner at Crotched Mountain Specialty Hospital
GREENFIELD, NH – The Crotched Mountain Foundation announces that Catherine Curtis, RN, MSN, AGPCNP-BC, CNL, CCRN, was recently hired as nurse practitioner for Crotched Mountain Specialty Hospital in Greenfield, NH. Curtis will join the medical team and assist with the hospital’s clinical education program.
“We are thrilled to have Cathy join Crotched Mountain Specialty Hospital,” said Michael Redmond, senior vice president and chief of strategy for hospital and therapies. “Cathy is a highly-skilled clinician with years of experience treating patients with acute, highly-challenging clinical needs and she is also an accomplished educator. She will be a tremendous asset to our patients and their families and to her fellow staff members as we expand our clinical education programs.”
Prior to joining Crotched Mountain, Curtis worked as a nurse practitioner in collaboration with Sebastian Sepulveda, MD, FCCP. Curtis and Dr. Sepulveda treated and cared for adults and seniors with acute and chronic illnesses. She was also founder and executive director of the Caring Well Institute D’Youville Life & Wellness Community, which provided clinical training for nursing assistants, dialysis technology, American Heart Association courses,and other advanced programs. Curtis spent 34 years at Saints Medical Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, where she served as director of education, palliative care, and also worked in critical care, endoscopy, post-anesthesia care and cardiology. She is a clinical and didactic professor in Rivier University’s (Nashua, NH) nurse practitioner program and serves on the institution’s advisory board.

Curtis holds a master’s degree in nursing, adult gerontological nurse practitioner concentration (AGPCNP) from UMass Boston, a master's degree in nursing with a clinical nurse leader specialty (CNL) from the University of New Hampshire and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Saint Joseph’s College, Standish, Maine. Curtis serves on several professional committees, and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
