Crotched Mountain Foundation Appoints Jill Biggane Director of Nursing at Crotched Mountain Specialty Hospital
GREENFIELD, NH – The Crotched Mountain Foundation announces that Jill Biggane, RN, BSN, CCM, CRRN, was recently named director of nursing for Crotched Mountain Specialty Hospital in Greenfield, NH. Biggane joins the medical team and will oversee patient care, case management and admissions and will be a key member of the hospital’s quality control and improvement program.
“Jill has a solid record of achievement in nursing leadership in multiple settings, and we’re very excited to have her on the Crotched Mountain Specialty Hospital team,” said Michael Redmond, chief of strategy, hospital and clinical services. “She will be a tremendous asset to our patients and their families, and as a mentor to our staff.”
Prior to joining Crotched Mountain, Biggane worked as nurse manager and wound care nurse at Finger Lakes Health – Geneva General, a 20-bed surgical unit in Geneva, New York. She has spent much of her career as both a clinician and program director for acute neuro-rehabilitation units and specialty hospitals, including the Naval Special Warfare Unit in Coronado, CA, which serves injured and ill active duty Special Operations service members. Biggane also owned and operated a case management company serving major employers for many years in upstate New York. She was a podium presenter and speaker at National Association of Rehab Nurses conferences in 2015 and 2016 on compassionate care interventions in physical rehabilitation.

Biggane holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the State University of New York, Plattsburgh, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing leadership. Biggane has received special clinical training in wound care, and is a certified case manager (CCM), a certified rehabilitation registered nurse (CRRN) and is certified in basic life support (BLS). She resides in the Peterborough area.
