For children with disabilities, early intervention is not just an option—it’s the foundation of long-term success. Since its inception, the Crotched Mountain Foundation has championed the needs of our youngest learners. Yet today, the urgency to address early intervention is more pressing than ever.
Over half of New Hampshire’s preschoolers with disabilities lack early intervention, fueling a growing educational crisis.
For many preschoolers with disabilities in the Granite State, the promise of a bright tomorrow is currently out of reach as more than 50% of these children are left behind each year, unable to access the crucial early intervention services they need before kindergarten.
Partnering with CMF Kids districts, CMF Kids Special Education Consultant Shelli Roberts of Insighted, LLC, led a study to uncover barriers and opportunities in New Hampshire’s early intervention system, offering solutions to help every child thrive.
