Crotched Mountain Foundation Launches CMF Kids Grant Program

New initiative supports special education for students with complex disabilities in public schools

Crotched Mountain Foundation (CMF) recently unveiled its new program named CMF Kids, a partnership initiative that provides technical special education assistance and financial support to public school districts to help build capacity for serving students with complex disabilities who reside in economically disadvantaged communities.

CMF Kids supports activities that include: infrastructure improvements, educational materials, environmental enhancements, teaching materials, training programs for teachers and paraprofessionals, before and after school programs, recreational equipment and programs, technologies, and technical assistance. 

“For nearly 90 years, Crotched Mountain Foundation has worked towards helping children, students, and adults with disabilities achieve maximum independence to live in their community,” said Ned Olney, President and CEO of Crotched Mountain Foundation. “With CMF Kids, we are excited to partner with our local school districts in supporting their special education needs and ensuring the extraordinary students of New Hampshire have every opportunity for success.”
