Memorial Garden
A place to rest, remember, and celebrate.

Located near our award-winning accessible trails, the Memorial Garden allows visitors to honor or memorialize family and friends while being rejuvenated by the beauty and bounty of surrounding vistas.

It includes an expansive outdoor gathering space for memorial services with a smaller, intimate grotto for quiet contemplation. Inspired by the 2013 dedication of a plaque memorializing Brandon Mills, the garden was designed in 2014 by Joseph E. Thompson.

Construction began in 2015 with the creation of a hand-crafted boundary wall by master stonemason Frank Whitney.

We are always looking for Memorial Garden volunteers!
