CMF Kids partners with Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country to offer recreation, sport, and adventure opportunities in communities served by CMF Kids school district partners. Adaptive Sports Partners provides inclusive programming for athletes of all abilities—supporting individuals with physical, developmental, emotional, and behavioral disabilities through adaptive equipment, personalized instruction, and a shared commitment to the joy of participation.

CMF Kids partners with Best Buddies New Hampshire to support school-based friendship programs and student leadership development—building inclusive relationships that connect students with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities, fostering belonging, understanding, and opportunities for every student to thrive.

CMF Kids is proud to support Camp Allen in expanding access to inclusive recreation and sports for children and youth with disabilities participating in its broader Summer 2026 camp program.

Through accessible recreational opportunities, campers can participate alongside their peers, build confidence and independence, develop new skills, and experience the friendships and sense of belonging that are at the heart of summer camp. CMF Kids’ support helps ensure that disability is not a barrier to participating in meaningful recreational and sporting experiences.

This partnership reflects CMF Kids’ commitment to creating more inclusive communities where children and youth with disabilities have opportunities to learn, play, connect, and thrive.

CMF Kids is partnering with the Coös Coalition for Young Children and Families to support the Mommy and Me Developmental Peer Play Group, a community-based occupational therapy-informed program designed for young children and their caregivers during the critical first three years of life.

The program creates an accessible, supportive environment where families can connect while strengthening caregiver wellbeing, parent-child co-regulation, participation in meaningful family activities, and healthy early childhood development. Through guided play and peer connection, families gain practical strategies that can be carried into everyday routines at home and in the community.

Beyond supporting participating children and caregivers, CMF Kids is leveraging the expertise of its Social Work Coordinator to examine the broader community impact of this grassroots approach—including how early connection, developmental support, caregiver confidence, and stronger links to community resources may benefit families over time.

Through this partnership, CMF Kids hopes to better understand how locally developed, family-centered programs can strengthen early childhood supports and whether successful elements of the model may be replicated in other New Hampshire communities.

CMF Kids is partnering with the Granite YMCA’s Downtown Manchester branch to expand access to safe, inclusive aquatics programming for children and youth with disabilities.

CMF Kids’ support will help enhance physical accessibility through the installation of an accessible swim stair and expand Swim Angelfish, an adaptive swim program that provides individualized support to help swimmers with disabilities build skills, confidence, and greater independence in the water.

Each year, the Downtown Manchester YMCA serves approximately 750 youth, nearly 10% of whom have a cognitive or physical disability. By reducing barriers to participation and providing specialized support, this partnership will help ensure more children and youth can benefit from aquatics as an important source of physical activity, recreation, social connection, and wellbeing.

Just as importantly, learning to swim is a critical life skill. Through accessible facilities and inclusive instruction, CMF Kids and the Granite YMCA are helping children and youth with disabilities develop greater water safety skills while creating opportunities to participate, belong, and thrive alongside their peers.

CMF Kids partners with Keene Housing Kids Collaborative to support children with disabilities in accessing adaptive programming, camp experiences, and academic opportunities. Together, we’re building the foundation for successful adulthood—helping kids gain confidence, have fun, learn, prepare for kindergarten, thrive in school, and graduate with the skills and experiences needed to become independent, engaged members of their communities.

CMF Kids has proudly supported the Manchester Community Music School and Concord Community Music School in providing music therapy programs for children and youth with disabilities. Through sensory rooms, student scholarships, and innovative programming, this partnership creates engaging, inclusive opportunities that inspire growth, expression, and a lifelong love of music.

CMF Kids partners with the Manchester Police Athletic League (MPAL) to support the Real Champions Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program, designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities, including Autism and Down Syndrome. MPAL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit after-school organization that connects police officers and youth through athletic and enrichment programs. By providing a safe, positive environment where officers serve as mentors and coaches, this program fosters confidence, skill-building, and inclusive opportunities for all participants.

CMF Kids is pleased to support the New Hampshire Dance Institute’s REACH Program (Realizing Excellence and Creating Happiness)—an inclusive and adaptive dance initiative for children with disabilities and special needs. Through specialized instruction and collaborative performances that bring together dancers with and without disabilities, REACH fosters empathy, creativity, and community. CMF Kids celebrates NHDI’s commitment to inclusive dance and to ensuring that every child can experience the joy of movement and artistic expression.

CMF Kids is supporting North Country Educational Services and the Coös Coalition for Young Children and Families in piloting the expansion of Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) Online into North Country school districts and school-based preschool programs.

Building on regional ASQ screening already underway with child care centers and Head Start programs, the pilot will explore how school districts can become part of a more coordinated approach to early developmental screening. Expanding access to ASQ within school-based settings can help identify developmental and social-emotional needs earlier, strengthen connections among families and early childhood providers, and support smoother transitions into preschool and kindergarten.

Through this partnership, CMF Kids is helping strengthen the region’s early childhood infrastructure while learning how a coordinated developmental screening approach can support earlier identification, timely connections to resources and services, and improved outcomes for young children and their families across the North Country.

CMF Kids is proud to support and celebrate the Center’s commitment to creating inclusive opportunities that enhance museum education and the visitor experience for children and youth with disabilities—ensuring every child can explore the wonder of science.

CMF Kids supports the YMCA of Greater Nashua's Swim Angelfish program and Adaptive Pickleball and Tennis through scholarships, instructor training, and adaptive equipment—expanding access to inclusive, meaningful recreation for children and youth with disabilities and fostering confidence, peer connections, and community belonging.
