“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'”
This question was posed by Martin Luther King, Jr. Of all his quotes, this one really jumps out to me.
Of course, executing on this spirited call to action is harder than it seems, even from someone as important and inspirational as Dr. King. It may feel like an impossible ask.
It is one of life’s most urgent questions: Why are we here and how can we make a difference in our neighborhood, community, and our world? It is the driving force behind the mission of Crotched Mountain Foundation.
This is the question that we ask ourselves every day. All of our services, all of our partnerships, our strategic plan, our vision, absolutely everything is built upon how we can make a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities.
Together, with our donors, advocates, partners, granting foundations, friends, and families, we are working every day to help children and adults of all abilities live, learn, and thrive in their own communities.
From CMCC to CMF Kids, from Enhanced Family Care to HUD Housing, from Adult Day Services to Accessible Hiking Trails, Crotched Mountain Foundation takes its century-long mission of serving the most vulnerable among us and moves it forward for the next 100 years.
All of us here at Crotched Mountain, empowered by people like you who share this compassion and urgency, strive to meet Dr. King’s challenge.
