Crotched Mountain Foundation Transitions Manchester HUD Property to New Owners

New Hampshire based family company to continue low-income housing complex

MANCHESTER, NH – Crotched Mountain Foundation (CMF) has entered into an agreement with a New Hampshire based company, 245 Main Street Manchester, LLC, to transfer ownership of the Courtyard Apartments in Manchester, by the end of June of this year.

CMF has owned and operated the Courtyard apartments for over 40 years. As a HUD-designated residential complex, Courtyard provides accessible and affordable housing to lower-income renters.

“We are grateful to 245 Main Street Manchester and its co-managers Joe and Jake Tamposi, who understand and are committed to continue the important service of Courtyard Apartments,” says Ned Olney, President and CEO of Crotched Mountain Foundation. “We are proud of the quality and dignified housing that we have provided for people living with disabilities over the past four decades. This transition to new ownership will ensure that the current residents of the Courtyard building will not be impacted.”

“We are committed to continuing Crotched Mountain Foundation’s legacy and will manage the property and meet tenant needs with the highest standards,” said Joe Tamposi. “Our goal is to continue to serve the existing tenants and maintain Courtyard Apartments as a long-term affordable property. There is a tremendous shortage of housing throughout New Hampshire, and our top priority as developers and property owners is to help address the need for affordable housing by building, managing, and preserving rental opportunities for underserved communities.”
