We held our most successful Winnipesaukee Volleyball Classic ever this June, hosted at Akwa Marina Yacht Club. This 7th annual installment of beach volleyball and boisterous community proved to be our most impactful yet, with the marina filled to the brim with new and familiar faces who, along with our amazing sponsors, raised the most money ever for Logan’s Giving Fund for Autism.
And what a common cause to rally around. All of the money raised goes directly to Logan’s Giving Fund, which covers the immense burden of therapy copays for families of children with autism. This special fund was created for the first annual Volleyball Classic, and since then it has grown its disbursements every year, reaching more and more families.
As Crotched Mountain Foundation continues to make a difference in our community—powered by your generosity—the Volleyball Classic, CMF Kids, Logan’s Giving Fund for Autism, and Crotched Mountain Community Care each play an important role in advancing our mission. The result is a true force for good that is targeting the poorest, most vulnerable friends and neighbors in our region.
This year we announced another $1 million in new awards for schools and the community through CMF Kids partnership projects, bringing the five‑year total of CMF Kids investments to a staggering $5 million. These are real, high‑leverage collaborations that are producing improved academic outcomes, needed infrastructure support, and groundbreaking programs in our public schools and local nonprofits.
All of these partnerships directly benefit children with disabilities in low‑income communities. No other nonprofit—nor donor base—systematically supports special education across the State of New Hampshire.
